Somewhat eventful day

So I went out to get a haircut today. No reservations, just walked down the street to my somewhat usual haunt. Packed. I walked across the street. I once saw Brian go there for a haircut, so I figure I'd give it a shot, too.

I walk in. One staff member. Korean lady with reddish blonde hair talking on the phone in her native tongue. Does not acknowledge me other than the occasional glance. I wait. She talks on. I look at the time on my cell, not really caring what time it is, but to show her I'm there and waiting. She talks on. And then she talks on. I leave. She calls out to me in Korean. I ignore. She comes out onto the street, calling out in Korean. Not even a backward glance. I walk on. I thought of turning back and walking on to show how dissatisfied I was with her attitude and lack of service, but I didn't wanna make any enemies. It's enough for her to know money walked out her door.

And then afterwards I went to Staples to meet up with co-workers. Went to dinner afterwards. But before that, manager called me this morning to see if I could work today's shift, and I said no. Then I see him outside the store after it closes and he jokingly rants about me not coming in to work. Heh. Sorry homie.

No comments about dinner. Well, it was pretty good food. But I didn't have enough, so I got a snack afterwards which was actually a meal on its own. Now I'm bloated. Ouch.
