Great times

3/4 of the summer gone, but life's been great. A few setbacks now and then, but I'm enjoying these schoolless days too much to get upset.

Days of planning with Johnny and sometimes Janette are always exciting. Laughs and more laughs. Speaking of retreat, games are looking good, progress is smooth so far. Hope we can keep this up. I'm really looking forward to the 5-7. It will be an interesting weekend.

Softball is fun as well. 3-1-1 is a good record, but I get the most of the season outside of games. I started talking to people I never talked to back in highschool, I'm getting closer to a lot of people at church, bonding with my teammates, things are going well.

That's the update on me. I've recovered from my week-long sickness. It's good to be healthy.

Hope all goes well with Coffeehouse and retreat.

Sucks!

Moderate computer error. Not severe enough that I need a new computer, hopefully, but it's so annoying. Gah!

Cough cough

My throat's been feeling like sandpaper for the last few days, and I'm on the Salt worship team tomorrow. Heal me Lord. I know it'll work out with You on my side.

Retreat

Ok, so what team games would you fine people like to play this coming RHCBC retreat, August 5-7? Leave a comment, including the rules of the game, and you just might get to play it then! Thanks people!

On a random side note, Resident Evil 2 is a lot harder than I had anticipated. Normal mode with pimping clothes that is.

Practice your apologetics!

So I was told to try this onine game called Gaia awhile ago, and has been on it quite frequently. Perhaps this is one "game" God wouldn't mind me spending time on.

It works like this. The game's core is on forums, and the more stuff you post, the more money you get. And with money, you can buy fancy clothing to suit up your avatar. I've been using the Gaia forums to defend my faith, and I see a lot of people who claim to be Christians say stuff that shouldn't originate from a follower of God's mouth (or fingers).

We have to overtake this game! We should take the initiative to spread the truth to these people, because I know thousands access these forums and leave with misconceptions of God and what Christianity is truly about. Gummi! I know you want in on this! If we don't step forth for Jesus, who will?

guhh

Headache, university courses, retreat, possible work in the summer and possible conflicts with softball, stress. All I want to do is get some rest, and I get nasty looks when I sleep past 10 in the morning.

My cellphone jingles as I toss and turn
Reach for my Bible so the lost can learn
Burdens ride my shoulders as I yearn for peace
I ask for Your guidance when I'm on my knees
The path in my life ain't impassable terrain
So I humbly accept and await for Your reign
Lord heal my pains, and help cleanse my sinful stains
I refuse to let the same taints remain
So I let go my gloom with a silent "Amen"
And step out my room hoping I'm a changed man

to be continued...or maybe not
