Day 31
Work day seemed to pass very quickly today for some reason.
At lunch today, I locked eyes with a cute baby in front of me. He was in a pram. That's right, Sam. A pram. And I got so lost in his gaze I upturned an entire cup of Sprite on my leg. Argh. But my pants didn't stain, and they weren't even sticky. Amazing material! Or the Sprite was way too watered down.
I helped a customer carry her products down the street today. Second time this long month (month as in the duration of time I've worked at Staples) for this particular customer. She started up a conversation with me, asking about what I do outside of Staples and such, like what I studied. That's pretty much all we talked about actually. Short story shorter, she offered me a side job, to edit her work for her for a price to my choosing, but reasonable of course. Sweet. Staples pays off (but on that note, my name on the pay cheque is wrong yet again, so maybe they're not really paying). But this is something I've wanted, to work as a writer and be paid for my masterpieces. I'll see what happens with school, home, Staples, and more work to juggle. "The entree ain't as good without something on the side, you know?"
After that, I had dinner and long talk with high school friend. Good food for once in a long while. Interesting talks as well. Then back to my crib for some...personal stuff. Nothing homosexual, I assure you. Maybe "personal stuff" is way too misleading. But what's written will remain written. Moving onn. Ah crap. Moving on. Saw bits of Borat, and it's nice. I learn much Khazakhstan. And then we watched bits of Talladega Nights and that wasn't very funny.
Now I'm here. The adventures of the Lonely Stapler continue.
